Last May, I shared my obsession with Gap’s 4 in 1 dresses that turn from dress of any length all the way to maxi skirt. A year later, I’m still loving them so you could only imagine my excitement when I came across this year’s 4 in 1 styles. I’m loving the colorblock versions -I’m planning on ordering the navy/red with some of my saved rewards soon! Will these beauties make it into your closet this summer? Check out the colorblock options here and the striped options here.

Last Thursday, a few friends and I hit up H&M in San Francisco about 45 minutes to opening. Usually, most collections are available at my nearby store but this year’s Exclusive Conscious collection seemed to be…. very, very exclusive.

Itching for your dose of Disney but not planning a trip anytime soon?

July 14, 2013

I haven’t expressed this on my blog yet but I’m kind of a Disney fanatic. For example, just the other day, my friend and I were shopping and browsing some Disney shirts. When I saw a cute shirt in only her teensy size, I told her she should get it. She replied and told me that she already had planned Disney clothes for her next trip. I looked down at my own Disney shirt and told her, “Heck I’m not at the parks but I’m wearing a Disney shirt -and I wear Disney or Disney inspired clothing at least twice a week!” Maybe this is a little childish but who cares.

I’ve found several Disney shirts to add to my collection from various places in the last few months including Target (pictured above), Hot Topic (below), Old Navy and of course, Disney Store.

The Ariel, Lion King and Mickey tanks are all available at Target for only $12.99 each! I’ve also seen price cuts in store for $12 many times and sometimes they even have $5 off $20 clothing purchase coupons which will save you even more.

Target also has really cute pajama sets for $19.99. I picked up this Lady set maybe two months ago only for the tank! They currently have Snow White and Tinkerbell options.

I also really like Hot Topic for tops and leggings! My other half bought me the gorgeous Beauty and the Beast tank a few weeks ago but I’m dying for the Ariel & Ursula and Peter Pan also.

Oh and yes, I do wear the Disney leggings. I purchased the Alice in Wonderland leggings and wore them on a trip to the Walt Disney Museum last month. I also think the the Sleeping Beauty and Ariel & Eric pair are adorable.

And lastly, Old Navy just launched a “Mickey Through the Decades” collection online and in stores. I picked up this Mickey and Minnie tank from Old Navy the other day although it seems to be sold out online. They’re going FAST. When I went (just a few days after the line was released), all the men’s shirts were sold out in store.

Check out the Disney Mickey Mouse Shop online here.

Also, Disney Store has many amazing options. I picked up this Little Mermaid tee a few weeks ago but they’re constantly coming up with new fantastic designs. Check them out!

Whether you’re a kid or kid at heart, I find nothing wrong with adding some Disney into your everyday wardrobe. I even wear Disney accessories and hair bows/clips but let’s save that for another post. 😉

Coral Steal @ Target

July 14, 2013

photo 2The Sam & Libby line at Target has been around for quite some time now and it looks as though most of the shoes and sandals have barely been touched. I briefly reviewed the line in a previous post and I’m guessing that customers have steered away from the line because of the following reasons:

  1. The prices are higher than other Target shoes (but not by much)
  2. They’re waiting for a sale (I’ve noticed that most Target shoes/clothing go on sale in about a month – not the case with this line)
  3. The shoes simply don’t fit! They do tend to be on the more narrow side

I initially purchased a pair of wedges but didn’t think they were worth the price I paid. While at the store the other day, I quickly browsed their selection again and noticed a closed box. The image on the box did not consist of one of the in store options and lucky for me, they were my size!

Inside were the Sonia Silver Wedge Sandals in a pretty coral/snake color. When I saw the price, I was in shock! There was a red sticker tagged on the original tag that read $8.76! Because this was an online only item that someone had returned, the store clearanced the shoes out right away. I of course snatched them up and headed to check out.

I do adore many of the designs that this line has to offer but I personally would be more willing to buy if they knocked maybe $5 off each pair -especially because there isn’t a high demand. If there were a higher demand for these, I doubt that would be the case but knowing Target, they clearance most items out anyway including designer collections/collaborations.

My Current Obsession: The Gap 4 in 1 Dress

Original Source

When I first saw this dress in one of my emails from Gap, I immediately sent it to the trash folder but upon rediscovering it, I dug it up and couldn’t stop dreaming about the endless possibilities with this little dress. A maxi dress/skirt that could be worn 4 ways? That’s like a good pair of jeans or that awesome blazer that goes with dozens of outfits.

I don’t normally buy anything at full price from Gap -heck I don’t often even buy things when there’s a 20% or 30% off sale UNLESS that’s a discount on top of already reduced sale prices. Hey, I’m a bargain shopper. Don’t judge me!

Sam & Libby for Target and the Search for the Perfect Summer Sandals

May 18, 2013

I have been swamped with schoolwork but I have SO MANY PHOTOS from collections in the last few months that I’m not sure whether to start fresh or post a huge update with all the photos. A few Sundays ago on May 5, Sam & Libby hit Target shelves with a fabulous line of colorful sandals and flats. Prior to the launch, I have purchased quite a few pairs of shoes from both Sam Edelman and his wife Libby Edelman’s line. This would’ve been my first pair of Sam & Libby shoes.
